Contract Security Program Officer (CPSO)

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft division is seeking a Contract Security Program Officer (CPSO) to oversee Special Access Program (SAP) security in East Aurora, NY. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will ensure compliance with DoD SAP policies and create a secure environment for program execution.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to DoD SAP security policies, including volumes I‑IV of the SAP Security Manuals.
• Collaborate with the SAP Government Program Manager to develop and approve SOPs, security plans, and CONOPs.
• Approve transmission and transportation modes for SAP material and report violations to appropriate authorities.
• Manage personnel security actions, adverse information reviews, and Program Access Requests.
• Certify facility accesses, accredit SAP facilities, and conduct or verify security inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• 5+ years of Facility Security Officer (FSO) or CPSO experience.
• 7+ years in security roles, preferably within defense or aerospace.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP accesses.
• Knowledge of DoD SAP Manuals (Volumes 1‑4) and ICD series.
