Contract Psychiatrist (MD/DO) - 1099

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates is looking for contract psychiatrists to join its provider network, which also includes therapists, physicians and coaches. As a contract psychiatrist you provide evidence-based mental health care to children (0-17) and adults through intake and follow-up appointments, including psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Patients can be referred to therapy and coaching services alongside your care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health medication management through intake and regular follow-up appointments
• Conduct mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations and longitudinal medication treatment
• Build patient-centered treatment plans, document treatment recommendations, message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Follow clinical best-practice guidelines such as measurement-based care and patient-centered care

Required profile

• Board-certified MD or DO in psychiatry
• Unrestricted state license with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Active DEA license strongly preferred
• Office space available to see patients in Unadilla, NY
• Ability to treat patients with a wide range of diagnoses, complexities and severity levels; in-person options preferred
• Full-time resident of the United States
