Contract Neuropsychologist (1099) - Pennsylvania

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, is hiring a contract Neuropsychologist (1099) for its Center of Excellence for Neurodiversity in Pennsylvania. The center offers neuropsychological and/or psychological assessments and diagnosis, tailored care for ADHD, and support for autism and learning differences. The role suits providers who enjoy a collaborative team environment with the patient's psychologist, therapist and/or psychiatrist.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake interviews to gather a complete history
• Provide comprehensive neuropsychological and/or psychological evaluations for clients of all ages, with families and/or collateral sources
• Interpret psychological and neuropsychological test batteries, occasionally administering tests directly
• Serve as a subject matter expert in neuropsychological assessments
• Supervise the patient's assigned psychometrist to ensure accurate data collection
• Write detailed evaluation reports and brief summaries for clients, families and referring providers
• Hold feedback sessions explaining findings, diagnoses and recommendations
• Coordinate treatment planning with the care team (psychiatrist, care manager, therapist, wellness coach)
• Work virtually and/or in person with patients and families

Required profile

• Doctorate in Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program
• Licensed Clinical Psychologist in at least one state
• One year of predoctoral internship and two years of postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology preferred
• An equivalent combination of experience, supervision or training may be considered
• Background check required

Required skills

• Experience conducting testing virtually and in person
• Familiarity with online web-based applications
• Therapeutic communication skills
• Ability to deliver care virtually, in person or in your own office
