Continuous Improvement Coordinator III

About the role

Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Continuous Improvement Coordinator III to support product quality and process compliance on the production floor. The role focuses on auditing products, managing defective material, and ensuring that plant SOPs are followed to maintain high standards for our paperboard packaging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Audit product against internal and customer specifications using CTQ, Parcview, and SAP data.
• Perform CTQ testing and document results through the GPI measurement system training process.
• Identify and prioritize quality issues each shift, moving defective material to blocked stock.
• Monitor compliance with plant SOPs, notify supervisors of chronic failures, and communicate daily quality issues.
• Complete Z9 reports for defective material, enter them into SAP, and distribute end‑of‑shift summaries.
• Support production in quarantining suspect supplier material and document all rejected material.
• Train employees on quality‑related SOPs and maintain monthly safety and computer training records.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of internal and customer product specifications.
• Experience with CTQ measurement equipment and data analysis.
• Ability to interpret and act on SAP and Parcview data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate findings clearly.
