About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a contingent worker to join the COM Cardiology and IMSL/CVS service lines as an unpaid intern. This position offers a hands‑on learning experience in the business operations of a clinical cardiology department.

Key responsibilities

Assist with special projects supporting clinics, resident programs, and departmental reporting.
Gather and organize data for reports and presentations.
Support day‑to‑day administrative tasks within the cardiology service line.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and residents to understand workflow and improve processes.

Required profile

Current student eligible for an unpaid internship (UCA Intern designation).
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19 or holds an approved exemption.
