Content Strategist – Remote (US)

About the role

Directive Consulting is seeking a skilled Content Strategist to join its remote US team. The role is client‑facing and focuses on designing and executing custom content and SEO strategies that drive measurable business outcomes for enterprise B2B tech and SaaS clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute tailored content and SEO strategies aligned with client goals.
• Create creative briefs and campaigns based on competitor research and audience insights.
• Utilise Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, Ahrefs and other tools to set, monitor and report on performance metrics.
• Manage projects in Asana, coordinating tasks across internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with writers and designers to deliver high‑quality marketing assets.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and reporting.
• Prepare bi‑weekly, monthly, quarterly and bi‑annual performance reports.
• Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, cross‑selling and referrals.

Required profile

• Proven success implementing SEO principles, keyword research, on‑page optimisation and link‑building.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate website traffic and SEO performance.
• Excellent communication skills and experience managing client relationships.
• Agency experience with B2B technology or SaaS clients.
• Genuine interest in digital marketing, SEO, content strategy, AI and automation.
