Content Marketing Manager

About the role

The Content Marketing Manager will craft compelling, mission‑driven digital stories that advance Planned Parenthood of Greater New York’s advocacy, fundraising and brand objectives. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will shape content for social media, video, email, web and emerging platforms to engage patients, supporters, donors and community partners.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage a steady pipeline of high‑quality social posts, short‑form videos, graphics, blog articles and email campaigns.
• Capture, edit and publish video content such as Reels, TikToks, interviews and behind‑the‑scenes pieces, including on‑camera appearances and voice‑overs.
• Identify and amplify patient, community and organizational stories that highlight sexual and reproductive health care and rights.
• Monitor social conversations, cultural moments and platform trends to create timely, relevant content.
• Engage online communities through social listening, influencer outreach and responsive digital communication.
• Support integrated marketing and advocacy campaigns aimed at audience growth, engagement and action.
• Develop copy and visual assets for email marketing, tailoring storytelling to target audiences.
• Analyze performance data and audience insights to refine content strategy and optimize reach.

Required profile

• Highly creative storyteller with a passion for social media and video storytelling.
• Thrives in fast‑paced digital environments and can balance creativity with data‑informed decision‑making.
• Strong understanding of platform trends, digital culture and audience engagement tactics.
• Excellent written and visual communication skills, able to translate complex issues into clear, compelling narratives.
