Content and Communications Specialist

About the role

Be Strong International is looking for a dynamic Content and Communications Specialist to shape, amplify, and protect the organization’s reputation and digital presence. You will work closely with senior leadership and program teams to ensure consistent, mission‑driven messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the organization’s content calendar for social media, newsletters, website, events, and internal communications.
• Develop and execute content themes, recurring series, and storytelling campaigns aligned with strategic priorities.
• Manage day‑to‑day organic social media publishing, engagement, and community interaction.
• Monitor trends and emerging formats to create timely, relevant social media content.
• Produce written, graphic, photo, and video assets that showcase program impact, participant success, and donor stories.
• Create and coordinate newsletters, internal updates, and event marketing materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and brand storytelling.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with the CEO, senior marketing staff, program teams, and business development.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain editorial consistency.
