Consultant for INFF Training Hub Knowledge and Capacity Development

About the role

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) is seeking a consultant to expand and operationalise the Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF) Training Hub. The role focuses on producing high‑quality guidance, manuals and e‑learning resources that enable countries to implement sustainable financing strategies aligned with the SDGs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of thematic guidance materials, practical implementation manuals and structured training resources for the INFF Training Hub.
• Coordinate with UNDESA, UNDP, OECD and UNICEF to ensure consistency and relevance of knowledge products.
• Design and deliver demand‑driven training modules, including e‑learning courses and online workshops.
• Support country engagement by providing technical assistance and facilitating access to the Training Hub resources.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of training interventions and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in economics, public policy, international development or a related field.
• Proven experience in knowledge management, capacity development or training design for international organisations.
• Familiarity with integrated financing frameworks, sustainable development goals and multilateral development processes.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
