Consultant Cyber Engineering

About the role

Deloitte Technology US is seeking a Consultant Cyber Engineering to support data source onboarding and quality functions for security monitoring. You will ensure that security data is accurately ingested into the SIEM, collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data issues, and maintain comprehensive process documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ticket management and DevOps activity tracking for accurate work intake and status reporting.
• Monitor Microsoft product updates and assess impact on the environment and customers.
• Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and workflow documentation.
• Gather requirements for new data sources, design connectors, and configure Microsoft Sentinel data collection rules.
• Validate ingested data against schema definitions and perform CIM normalization.
• Monitor data flow, troubleshoot ingestion failures, and remediate data quality issues.
• Support and update data connectors, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions used for onboarding.
