Construction Support Services Supervisor

About the role

VSC Fire & Security is looking for a Construction Support Services Supervisor to build and lead a centralized Billing and Contracts Operations department. The role will oversee the end‑to‑end contract and billing lifecycle for construction projects across multiple states, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and manage a centralized Billing and Contracts Operations function.
• Document and standardize processes, workflows, service levels and SOPs.
• Lead a hybrid team with U.S. leadership and offshore daily operations in the Philippines.
• Drive automation, workflow enhancements and scalable documentation systems.
• Collaborate with IT, finance and operations to align billing and contract workflows with project stages and financial reporting.
• Create templates, dashboards and tracking tools for billing, lien waivers and contract lifecycle management.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for AIA billing (G702/G703), change orders, lien waivers and contract documentation.
• Review complex construction contracts and sub‑contracts to identify risks, billing requirements and key obligations.
• Ensure compliance with state and local construction regulations, certified payroll and prevailing‑wage rules.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in construction billing, contracts administration or project accounting.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage offshore teams and develop scalable back‑office processes.
• Active Notary Public commission in any U.S. state.
• Strong understanding of multistate construction compliance requirements.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ownership of new initiatives.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Experience with ERP and project systems such as Sage Intacct, Procore, GC Pay, Textura or Siteline.
• Knowledge of AIA billing forms G702 and G703.
• Active Notary Public commission.
