Construction Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to lead the deployment of large‑scale vehicle, cargo, rail and radiation detection inspection systems at our Calexico, CA site on the U.S. southern border. The role is hands‑on and field‑based, acting as the primary on‑site point of contact for internal teams, subcontractors, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) during construction kickoff through government acceptance testing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate installation and commissioning of vehicle, cargo, rail inspection and radiation detection systems.
• Serve as the central liaison between CBP, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage equipment delivery schedules, site access, lay‑down logistics and resource allocation.
• Track shipments, oversee off‑loading, and monitor construction progress against project milestones.
• Identify risks and conflicts early and drive corrective actions.
• Provide daily and weekly status updates to all stakeholders.
• Support subcontractor coordination, issue resolution and site‑related requests.
• Review technical documentation, drawings and test plans to ensure correct execution.
• Lead system testing activities and prepare for CBP acceptance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing technical teams in construction, field service or installation environments.
• Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, test plans and engineering documentation.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain CBP Public Trust Clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as Gantt charts and MS Project.
• Experience managing logistics, delivery tracking and resource scheduling.
• Familiarity with civil, MEP and rail system terminology.
