Construction Superintendent – K‑12 School Projects

About the role

Clark is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead daily field execution on K‑12 school construction projects across Southeast Michigan. You will ensure safe, high‑quality spaces are delivered on tight summer schedules while schools remain occupied.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead 2‑4 week look‑ahead execution for each project.
• Coordinate daily trade sequencing, site logistics, and occupied‑building protocols.
• Enforce safety standards, cleanliness, and schedule alignment with the Project Manager.
• Lead weekly trade coordination meetings and maintain detailed daily reports.
• Drive quality close‑out with minimal punch‑list items.
• Represent Clark professionally with district staff and administrators.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• K‑12 or occupied‑building experience preferred.
• Strong short‑term planning and trade coordination abilities.
• Clear, firm leadership presence on site.
• Deep commitment to safety and quality.
• Reliable transportation and mobility on active sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Phoenix construction software.
• Experience using ProjectSight.
• Ability to work with Bluebeam.
