Construction Superintendent

About the role

Sincere Builders is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial ground‑up projects in Houston. Reporting to the Director of Construction, you will own the job site with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule performance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Construction to set up and implement project plans, interfacing with architects and engineers.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with the Project Manager, overseeing subcontractors, material deliveries, and inspections.
• Identify potential conflicts early and work with the General Superintendent, vendors, and inspectors to resolve them.
• Make decisions on quality control, staffing, scheduling, and material logistics.
• Maintain current permits and insurance, act as liaison to inspection agencies, and submit daily site reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of ground‑up commercial construction experience as a superintendent for a general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural building systems and construction methods.
• Proficiency with Procore’s Superintendent tools, construction drawings, specifications, and building code compliance.
• Experience using scheduling and project‑management software.
• Ability to direct multiple crews and manage detailed site operations.
