Construction Superintendent

About the role

JRM Construction is seeking Superintendents at all experience levels to lead site construction activities. The role focuses on delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Superintendent in developing and maintaining project schedules, including master, 60‑day, and two‑week look‑ahead plans.
• Implement and uphold corporate safety program requirements on a daily basis.
• Coordinate material deliveries, track contract items, and manage shop drawing schedules.
• Prepare daily construction reports and attend weekly foreman and superintendent meetings.
• Maintain document control to ensure work follows the latest design documents and approved shop drawings.
• Communicate design clarifications to the project manager for timely RFI issuance.
• Support the preparation of monthly status reports for clients.
• Secure required permits and approvals before work commences.
• Collaborate with the project manager to address constructability issues during pre‑construction.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of construction scheduling and site coordination.
• Ability to enforce safety standards and risk controls.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with foremen, designers, and project teams.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on document control and compliance.
