Construction Superintendent

About the role

West Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial projects across the Tulsa/Owasso area and throughout Oklahoma. This senior field‑lead position requires a hands‑on leader who can own the jobsite, manage multiple trades, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily on‑site construction operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, inspections, and field personnel.
• Coordinate project schedule, manpower, sequencing, logistics, and daily workflow.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain schedule, budget awareness, and project priorities.
• Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, and field conditions.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and maintain short‑term look‑ahead schedules.
• Enforce OSHA requirements and company safety standards.
• Maintain high standards for quality, workmanship, cleanliness, and professionalism.
• Document daily reports, photos, manpower logs, delivery records, safety documentation, punch lists, and closeout items.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Proven experience leading commercial ground‑up construction sites.
• Strong understanding of commercial building systems, plans, specifications, and sequencing.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and phases simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Oklahoma.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
