Construction Superintendent

About the role

Goldbeam Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day field operations on restaurant and retail tenant‑buildout projects across Texas. You will be the on‑site authority for schedule, quality, safety, and subcontractor coordination from mobilization through final turnover.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on 6–16 week buildout projects.
• Coordinate and supervise all trades, including MEP, framing, drywall, flooring, millwork, signage, and kitchen equipment installation.
• Develop three‑week look‑ahead schedules, sequence trades, and drive the job to on‑time completion.
• Enforce quality standards, conduct inspections at each milestone, and manage punch‑list items to zero.
• Maintain a safe, OSHA‑compliant site, lead toolbox talks, and submit daily digital reports with photos.
• Coordinate municipal, utility, and health‑department inspections.
• Communicate proactively with project managers, landlords, franchisees, and vendors.
• Manage site logistics such as deliveries, staging, security, and tenant/landlord requirements in occupied shopping centers.

Required profile

• Experience as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, or lead foreman on commercial construction projects, preferably restaurant, retail, or tenant‑improvement.
• Working knowledge of all major trades and ability to read plans and specifications fluently.
• Strong scheduling instincts and ability to recover lost days.
• Comfortable using digital reporting tools, photo documentation, and punch‑list software.
• Familiarity with health‑department and municipal inspection processes is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain promptly).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel across Texas.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
