Construction Superintendent

About the role

Roers Companies is looking for an energetic Construction Superintendent to lead on‑site teams for multifamily residential projects in Naples, Florida. The role involves overseeing all construction activities from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external teams to develop and maintain project schedules and sequencing.
• Forecast and manage resources—including manpower, equipment, and materials—while respecting budget constraints.
• Plan and supervise all on‑site construction operations, scheduling intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
• Monitor progress, prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and third‑party authorities, and maintain daily site logs.
• Enforce health, safety, and building code compliance, conducting regular safety checks and quality inspections.
• Direct subcontractors, perform quality control, and adjust on‑site activities to address changing conditions.
• Provide value‑engineering recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain positive relationships with city officials, owners, subcontractors, and suppliers, and support early site preparation for leasing and marketing teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of on‑site supervision experience in multifamily residential new‑building construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to integrity, teamwork, and ownership mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction scheduling software.
• Ability to read and interpret local, state, and national building codes.
• Experience conducting safety and quality inspections.
