About the role

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead daily scheduling, planning, and execution of large‑scale building projects in Albany, NY. You will ensure that materials, equipment, and personnel are coordinated efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily site scheduling and planning activities.
• Coordinate delivery of materials, equipment, and workforce.
• Monitor and enforce safety, health, and environmental protocols.
• Manage on‑site personnel, fostering teamwork and productivity.
• Oversee contract administration and project delivery methods.
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of construction experience on projects valued above $1 million.
• At least 4 years as an Assistant Superintendent or Inspector on large‑scale, multi‑contract building projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of pre‑design, pre‑construction, building systems, and contract management.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check; no sponsorship available.
