Construction Project Manager – Miami

About the role

H&M Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end construction projects for its retail stores. Based in Miami, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the company’s quality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop investment budgets, business cases and detailed project plans aligned with global construction processes.
• Conduct site surveys, value engineering and risk analyses to support decision‑making.
• Coordinate with leasing, legal, consultants and authorities to secure permits and define contractual obligations.
• Support procurement and pre‑qualification of contractors, review contracts and manage payment schedules.
• Oversee construction execution, monitor progress through site visits and ensure compliance with building specifications, interior guidelines, health and safety standards.
• Continuously improve planning tools and share best practices across the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects in a retail or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, contracting, permitting and health & safety regulations.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion.
