Construction Project Manager

About the role

Mavin is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the development and construction phases of assigned projects. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while providing a customer‑centric experience.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in internal Mavin meetings, including weekly, quarterly, and strategic planning sessions.
• Respond to RFPs, prepare proposals, and lead client meetings from pre‑construction through project close‑out.
• Develop preliminary budgets, collect and analyze bids, and oversee project estimating.
• Coordinate design meetings, manage costs, and handle municipal permitting and coordination.
• Lead procurement activities: solicit subcontractors, negotiate contracts, manage submittals, and oversee scope of work.
• Utilize CMiC for budget setup, ongoing project input, and document control.
• Create and maintain master project schedules, update site plans, and drive weekly schedule processes with superintendents.
• Conduct project kick‑off meetings, oversee subcontractor meetings, and ensure a safe work environment.
• Track material status, manage non‑financial project controls, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and relationship‑focused.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities with a safety‑first mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.
