Construction Project Manager

About the role

HTH, a vertically integrated real‑estate developer, builder and property manager in New York City, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead residential ground‑up projects from initiation through closeout. The role combines strategic planning, on‑site supervision, and client relationship management to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all phases of residential construction projects, from pre‑construction to final closeout.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules (MS Project or Primavera) and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and vendors.
• Supervise site personnel, conduct safety audits and resolve field issues promptly.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings and meeting minutes.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies and monitor project performance.
• Prepare and present progress reports, cost tracking and change‑order documentation.
• Mentor junior project managers and site supervisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience managing ground‑up residential construction with a general contractor.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑driven and capable of handling large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost control and safety regulations.
