Construction Project Manager

About the role

The Construction Project Manager will guide internal teams, clients and vendors through every phase of a construction project, from concept to completion. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures projects meet corporate, client and budget objectives while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal Mavin meetings, weekly, quarterly and strategic planning sessions.
• Prepare and present meeting minutes, monthly project reports and warranty management documentation.
• Respond to RFPs, develop preliminary budgets, collect and analyze bids, and oversee project estimating.
• Coordinate design meetings, manage costs, handle municipal permitting and procurement activities.
• Solicit, negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements, submittals and scopes of work.
• Utilize CMiC to set up budgets, track submittals and maintain project schedules.
• Develop and maintain master project schedule, update site plans and drive weekly scheduling with superintendents.
• Conduct project kick‑off meetings and lead owner/architect/contractor coordination.
• Oversee subcontractor meetings, ensure safe work environment and monitor material status.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and control non‑financial project metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb and work on construction sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑specific project management, accounting, scheduling, estimating, takeoff and BIM software.
• Experience using CMiC construction management platform.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
