Construction Project Manager

About the role

Mavin is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the development and construction phases of assigned projects. You will act as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to internal Mavin meetings, client briefings, and design workshops.
• Prepare meeting minutes, monthly project reports, and respond to RFPs.
• Develop preliminary budgets, collect and analyze bids, and oversee project estimating.
• Coordinate design meetings, manage municipal permitting, and handle procurement activities.
• Lead submittal processes, negotiate contracts, and manage subcontractor relationships.
• Utilize CMiC to set up budgets, maintain schedules, and track project documentation.
• Maintain a safe work environment, monitor material status, and ensure quality control.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
• Licensed driver with reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb and work on construction sites.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and relationship‑focused.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMiC project management software.
• Experience using BIM and takeoff/estimating tools.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with scheduling, accounting, and procurement software.
