Construction Project Manager

About the role

Mavin is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the development and construction phases of assigned projects. The role serves as the primary liaison among internal teams, clients, and vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and contribute to internal Mavin meetings (weekly, quarterly, strategic planning, leadership).
• Respond to RFPs, prepare proposals, and lead client interviews.
• Develop preliminary budgets, collect and analyze bids, and oversee project estimating.
• Coordinate design meetings, manage costs, and handle municipal permitting.
• Lead procurement activities: subcontractor solicitation, award negotiations, and submittal administration.
• Utilize CMiC for budget setup, ongoing input, and document control.
• Create and maintain master project schedules; drive weekly schedule updates with superintendents.
• Conduct project kick‑off meetings and oversee subcontractor meetings.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure high‑quality workmanship.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb and perform site walk‑throughs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMiC project management software.
• Experience using BIM and other industry‑specific estimating, takeoff, scheduling, and accounting tools.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
