Construction Project Manager

About the role

Lane Valente Industries is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial construction and facility maintenance projects across the United States. The role involves overseeing all phases from design interpretation to project close‑out while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural and MEP design documents.
• Prepare comprehensive scopes of work and request for proposals (RFPs).
• Develop cost estimates and detailed project schedules.
• Manage subcontractor bidding, including scope development, bid lists, and unit cost comparisons.
• Review subcontractor bids, issue contracts, and coordinate with owners or their representatives on schedule and critical issues.
• Handle project correspondence, RFIs, change orders, and AIA payment applications.
• Obtain permits, coordinate with local building departments, and manage project close‑out.
• Monitor construction sequencing, long‑lead items, and critical paths.
• Conduct progress visits, provide daily updates and photographic documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
