Construction Project Manager

About the role

Mavin is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the development and construction phases of assigned projects. The role serves as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in internal Mavin meetings, including weekly, quarterly, and strategic planning sessions.
• Respond to RFPs, prepare proposals, and lead client-facing meetings from pre‑construction through project close‑out.
• Develop preliminary budgets, collect and analyze bids, and oversee project estimating.
• Coordinate design meetings, manage municipal permitting, and supervise procurement activities.
• Utilize CMiC to set up budgets, maintain schedules, and manage submittals and documentation.
• Lead project kick‑off meetings, oversee subcontractor coordination, and ensure a safe work environment on site.
• Track material status, control non‑financial project metrics, and produce monthly project reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb and perform site walk‑throughs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑specific project management, accounting, scheduling, estimating, takeoff, and BIM software.
• Experience using CMiC for construction project management.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
