Construction Project Administrator

About the role

The client is looking for a Construction Project Administrator to support multiple construction projects in the Pearl River area. The role involves handling contracts, submittals, change orders and maintaining project data in ProCore. You will work closely with subcontractors, estimators and the internal team to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Administer multiple projects simultaneously, monitoring contracts, submittals, change orders and updating information in ProCore.
• Maintain bid records, project schedules and enter bid data to generate reports.
• Prepare project proposals, procure estimates from subcontractors and coordinate RFI/RFQ information.
• Manage estimating emails and phone calls, apply for permits and track subcontractor insurance.
• Provide phone support and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in an administrative or project support role within construction, landscaping, plumbing, electrical or similar fields.
• High School Diploma/GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic accounting knowledge and ability to type 40+ words per minute.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Experience using CRMs, databases and presentation software.
• Familiarity with ProCore construction management software.
• Fast typing speed (40+ wpm).
