Construction Manager / Superintendent

About the role

Join Siemens Energy’s Building Solutions team as a Construction Manager/Superintendent, leading high‑impact construction projects that shape the company’s infrastructure. Based in the Tampa, FL area, you will oversee daily on‑site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with all standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on‑site construction execution, maintaining compliance with Siemens Energy standards, OSHA requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Support planning, organization, and control of project delivery, including scope definition, schedule and budget adherence, design coordination, approvals, tendering, and contractor selection.
• Manage external partners and consultants by assigning responsibilities, reviewing schedules, integrating vendor activities, and ensuring deliverables meet project expectations.
• Monitor, track, and report project performance on cost, schedule, quality, staffing, risks, and progress; contribute to status updates and management presentations.
• Oversee construction documentation and administrative tasks such as permits, inspections, daily site logs, contractor reports, cost tracking, change management, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, maintain stakeholder communication, and drive continuous improvement, digitalization, and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction, civil, MEP engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, IPMA) or contract management experience are beneficial.
• 3+ years of experience managing construction projects for office, production, or warehouse facilities, preferably in an international or multicultural environment.
• Strong understanding of design and construction processes for industrial or commercial facilities and ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines.
