Construction Manager – OSP Fiber Networks

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the deployment of underground, buried, and aerial fiber networks as part of a New Market Expansion initiative. You will be responsible for overseeing all field activities, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead installation of outside plant (OSP) fiber infrastructure, including underground and aerial construction.
• Supervise daily activities of contractors, splicing teams, vendors, and project personnel.
• Review construction packages, splice diagrams, and engineering documents to resolve design conflicts and field issues.
• Mentor and develop Construction Engineers, Leaders, Assistants, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, quality metrics, and contractor performance; provide regular updates and risk mitigation plans.
• Champion safety culture, conduct quality inspections, and ensure compliance with RUS, NEC, and company standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience in telecommunications OSP construction, installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of fiber optic construction methods and outside plant infrastructure.
• Familiarity with underground fiber projects and applicable RUS/NEC codes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ability to navigate HES work‑order systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
