Construction Laborer

About the role

Brasfield & Gorrie is seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to support commercial construction projects. The role involves physical labor, tool operation, and site preparation in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work at elevated heights when required.
• Perform physical tasks such as digging trenches, setting braces, erecting scaffolding, and cleaning up rubble and debris.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, and surveying/measuring equipment.
• Assist other craft workers and maintain site cleanliness.
• Adhere to safety protocols and work in a drug‑free environment, regardless of weather conditions.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of commercial construction experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform prolonged stooping, bending, and standing.
• Comfortable working at elevated heights.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
