Construction Coordinator for Commercial Playgrounds

About the role

Kraftsman Commercial Playgrounds & Water Parks is seeking a proactive Construction Coordinator to oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of commercial playground and water‑park projects. This position acts as the central hub for logistics, ensuring that materials, equipment, crews, and documentation flow smoothly across multiple active sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily and weekly project schedules, assigning crews, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Prepare, distribute, track, and document change orders and contractual agreements alongside the Project Manager and Director of Contracts.
• Serve as primary contact for suppliers and vendors, monitoring order status and resolving delivery issues.
• Support Project Managers with subcontractor documentation, scheduling, and communication.
• Collect and submit project submittals, including color selections, product specs, and certifications.
• Issue and track purchase orders in line with budgets and timelines.
• Manage permit applications, inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Maintain project management systems, monitor progress, and proactively address challenges.
• Assist site supervisors with safety compliance, quality control, and documentation.
