Construction Assistant Superintendent

About the role

We are looking for a Construction Assistant Superintendent to support our Field Operations team on projects in Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding areas. You will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee daily site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Superintendent to manage day‑to‑day job‑site operations.
• Coordinate and direct construction tasks, supporting field staff and subcontractors.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, contract documents, and safety requirements.
• Maintain project schedules, control costs, and uphold quality standards.
• Assist in material ordering, scheduling, and production oversight.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (construction‑management coursework a plus).
• Minimum 3 years as a Lead Foreman on medium to large construction projects.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in construction trades or field operations.
• Experience with government, military, or large commercial projects preferred.
• Prior work in a design‑build environment and secure/controlled‑access sites is advantageous.
• CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30‑hour, EM‑385, and STS certifications required (training can be provided).
• LEED Green Associate certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with construction software such as Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• OSHA 30‑hour, EM‑385, and STS credentials.
• LEED Green Associate (optional).
