Conflicts Analyst

About the role

The Conflicts Analyst joins the Conflicts Services team to initiate the conflicts review process for all new business. Working closely with partners, support staff and the Conflicts Manager, the analyst ensures the firm complies with professional responsibility rules and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and review new client and matter requests.
• Research corporate structures and family relationships using internal databases and external tools.
• Prepare conflicts reports and highlight high‑risk hits for Conflicts Attorneys.
• Maintain accurate client and matter data in the firm’s intake and conflicts management systems.
• Support a variety of research requests, audit letters and lateral‑hire projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years experience in a law‑firm environment; conflicts department experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of professional responsibility rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze details, think critically and manage urgent tasks in a deadline‑driven setting.

• Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) and Capital IQ research tools.
• Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Outlook.
