Configuration Manager – Agile Team (Hybrid)

About the role

Join a high‑performing Agile team as a Configuration Manager supporting mission‑critical supervisory systems for a federal agency. You will ensure configuration integrity, traceability, and quality while working in a hybrid environment based in Lafayette, LA or Knoxville, TN.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management processes, standards, and documentation for enterprise systems.
• Manage version control of software, documentation, and configuration items using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Perform physical configuration audits to verify conformance with baseline documentation.
• Oversee change control processes, tracking, reviewing, and approving configuration changes.
• Support CI/CD pipeline automation and maintain configuration integrity throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, operations, security, and QA teams to enforce consistent configuration practices.
• Maintain program documents in SharePoint or similar tools and provide status reporting to stakeholders.
• Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement of CM processes.
• Train and mentor team members on configuration management best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in configuration management, version control, or related roles.
• Eligibility for a federal background investigation (U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency with 3+ years residency).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.
