Configuration Management Coordinator II

About the role

Moog’s Space and Defense Group is seeking a Configuration Management Coordinator II to join its engineering team in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on creating, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation and managing engineering change requests using the Teamcenter ERP system.

Key responsibilities

• Create and review technical documents such as parts lists, qualification reports, test procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
• Ensure documents meet contractual, export, intellectual property, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements.
• Collect, trend, and graph data; generate figures with photos and CAD graphics.
• Provide feedback and training to promote consistent and efficient document generation.
• Coordinate engineering change requests, manage document and drawing releases in Teamcenter, and track engineering change order status.
• Maintain SharePoint pages, document repositories, and digitize legacy design files.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or quality documentation.
• Quality‑focused attitude with basic mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, sketches, and wiring schematics.

Required skills

• Teamcenter ERP system.
• SharePoint.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• CAD graphics creation.
