Concrete Finisher

About the role

As a Concrete Finisher with Lithko Contracting, you will shape and perfect newly placed concrete surfaces across a variety of commercial projects, ensuring they meet strict quality and tolerance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Smooth and finish concrete surfaces to required specifications using hand and power tools.
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment, including riding machines, vibrating tools, and saw‑cutting devices.
• Follow daily work plans and short‑interval schedules, adjusting methods for weather and mix design.
• Maintain a safe, organized jobsite by applying proper ergonomics, identifying slip‑trip hazards, and using personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of commercial concrete finishing experience (floors, tilt‑ups, paving, stairs, curb & gutter, sidewalks, metal decks, structural decks).
• Reliable, punctual and able to work consistently on‑site.
• Willingness to perform minor equipment maintenance and keep tools clean.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand finishing tools (shovel, hand floats, trowels, screeds, bull floats, edgers, jointers).
• Experience operating power finishing equipment and riding machines.
• Knowledge of vibrating equipment and saw‑cutting tools for concrete.
• Ability to perform minor maintenance on finishing tools.
