Concierge – Metro Edgewater

About the role

The Concierge at Metro Edgewater provides front‑desk support and resident services for a high‑rise, stabilized community of 279 units. Acting as the first point of contact, the Concierge ensures a welcoming environment for prospects, residents and visitors while coordinating daily operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Greet prospects and residents, manage lobby flow and maintain a comfortable waiting area.
• Answer telephone calls, route them to appropriate team members and follow up on service requests.
• Maintain the guest suite schedule, ensuring payment, cleanliness and readiness for arrivals.
• Coordinate loading dock and elevator usage for move‑ins and move‑outs.
• Prepare clubhouse amenities each morning before the leasing office opens.
• Log and notify residents of package deliveries within 24 hours.
• Track equipment rentals, dry‑cleaning services and other community‑provided amenities.
• Assist the community team in planning and executing resident activities and programs.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information on local restaurants, shops and delivery services and manage relationships with concierge vendors.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and working in all weather conditions.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders and lift objects as described.
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to assist other properties or attend training.
