Concierge – Hotel Front Desk & Guest Services

About the role

The Ivy Hotel is seeking a dedicated Concierge to join its front‑desk team. The role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and promoting all hotel services such as rooms, restaurant, spa, and meeting spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the concierge desk is staffed and operational at all times.
• Welcome guests, handle check‑in/check‑out, and coordinate luggage delivery.
• Use hotel computer systems to create/edit reservations, run reports, and monitor room rates.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Valet to meet guest preferences.
• Respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone, or email, and resolve complaints professionally.
• Make courtesy calls, log responses, and follow up as needed.
• Post charges, settle bills, and provide backup for financial services.
• Assist with evening in‑suite dining orders and handle internal/external calls.

Required profile

• Previous hotel or customer‑service experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Associate degree or higher.
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts including overnight.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong verbal communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
