Concessions Cook - Darien Lake Amphitheater

About the role

This position prepares and cooks food items at the Darien Lake Amphitheater so that guests are satisfied and food revenues are maximized. The employer is Legends Global, a hospitality and operations agency that works with brands across professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and practice all established health and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare, hold and serve products at the correct temperatures, with proper rotation, labeling and dating.
• Use the proper utensils and portions, and keep the work area clean, sanitized and organized.
• Keep management informed of food quantities and quality in prep, on the line and in holding cabinets.
• Coordinate orders so they are cooked on time and accurately, and help restock paper supplies and food items.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as described in the Employee Training Manual, and follow sanitary practices for food handling and kitchen/serving area maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, and complete company-wide and job-specific safety training.
• May be assigned to work multiple stations during a shift and assist other positions when needed.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of experience preparing food in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
• Able to follow written and oral directions and to work under pressure and independently.

What we offer

• Pay of $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.
