Computer Tomography Technologist PRN

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Computer Tomography (CT) Technologist on a PRN (as‑needed) basis. This temporary, fixed‑term position supports clinical imaging services with flexible shift coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CT scanning equipment to acquire high‑quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for imaging procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and departmental standards.
• Document imaging studies accurately and communicate findings to radiologists.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform routine quality checks, and report any technical issues.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees or graduate assistants).
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Availability to work varying shifts on an as‑needed (PRN) schedule.
• Eligibility for benefits as a temporary staff member.
