Computer Support Associate

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Computer Support Associate to join our Infrastructure team and provide onsite deskside Tier 2 support. The position starts on the 1st shift with the possibility to move to the 3rd shift during peak periods, offering flexibility for candidates who can work both day and night schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy new computers and replace outdated hardware.
• Upgrade operating systems from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
• Image computers, retire old assets, and manage disposal.
• Use PowerShell and Python scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Lift and move printers and other equipment (up to 50 lb).
• Wear metatarsal safety boots from day one.
• Document asset changes in ServiceNow and follow knowledge‑base procedures.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and data‑support processes.
• Communicate via email and keep basic records up to date.
• Identify known issues, apply pre‑established solutions, and escalate new problems.

Required profile

• Knowledge of basic computing and networking concepts.
• Understanding of computer security policies.
• Ability to drive locally.
• At least 1 year of IT experience preferred; recent graduates are also considered.
• Degree in an IT discipline or equivalent experience; high‑school diploma acceptable.
