Computer Programmer (Software Engineering)

About the role

Guidehouse is seeking a Computer Programmer to join its Software Engineering team. The role involves evaluating processes, mapping business workflows, and delivering visualizations and applications using Palantir and Microsoft Power Apps.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate existing processes, anticipate requirements, identify gaps and implement effective solutions.
• Map business processes and uncover improvement opportunities.
• Develop visualizations and applications with Palantir tools and Microsoft Power Apps Suite.
• Facilitate workshops, elicit requirements and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Perform requirements analysis and document results.
• Communicate insights and plans to cross‑functional teams and management.
• Collaborate with clients, technicians and managerial staff to ensure alignment.
• Manage projects, develop project plans and monitor performance.
• Update, implement and maintain existing procedures and deliverables.
• Manage competing priorities and resources to meet deadlines.
• Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.

Required profile

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (active Secret preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in software design, development, quality testing or IT.
