Compliance Specialist I – Onsite in Medford, MA

About the role

The Compliance Specialist I will support fund filing operations for LexisNexis Risk Solutions in Medford, MA. Working closely with a manager, the specialist ensures timely and accurate notice filings with U.S. state regulators for a portfolio of mutual funds and investment products.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client service contact for state examiners and internal BSRS clients.
• Manage end‑to‑end filing processes, including renewal and amendment submissions for assigned funds.
• Review warning reports, analyze historical sales data, and forecast future filing needs.
• Process incoming state correspondence, track open items, and follow up with regulators.
• Maintain organized legal and fund files, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and easy retrieval.
• Communicate fund changes from clients and prepare all required documentation for state agencies.
• Proactively update fund files to reflect new funds or changes to existing ones, coordinating with administrative support as needed.
