Compliance and Training Manager (Remote, NC)

About the role

Opal Autism Centers is seeking a Compliance and Training Manager to build and maintain systems that protect quality care. This remote position, based in North Carolina, partners directly with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and effective employee training across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily compliance monitoring, incident review, and audit support.
• Lead the design, development, and delivery of internal training programs for all staff.
• Create, update, and maintain policies, SOPs, and handbooks in collaboration with leadership and People & Culture.
• Assist in developing and managing Opal’s Student Analyst Program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Healthcare Administration, Training, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least three years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, training, clinical oversight, or a related healthcare role.
• Proven experience conducting documentation audits, incident investigations, quality‑improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver employee training programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to individuals and groups.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning and using technology platforms, learning management systems, and AI‑enabled productivity tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while exercising sound professional judgment and maintaining confidentiality.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 per year.
• Remote work arrangement (must reside in North Carolina).
