Compensation Partner

About the role

LinkedIn is seeking a Compensation Partner to join its People Operations team. The role will be based in one of four U.S. locations (San Francisco, Mountain View, New York, or Chicago) and follows a hybrid work model, combining office and remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to business leaders and HR Business Partners on compensation strategy, cycles, programs, and initiatives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee compensation questions.
• Develop individual compensation recommendations for external hires, internal transfers, and international moves.
• Support the implementation of annual compensation cycles, including investment strategy alignment, analytical modeling, and review of manager recommendations.
• Participate in salary and equity range reviews and conduct independent benchmarking analyses.
• Continuously assess market conditions to ensure competitive and equitable compensation plans.
• Create compensation enablement and briefing materials for leadership meetings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to achieve consistent outcomes across the business.
• Proactively resolve operational problems and complex queries from internal or external partners.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders and HR on compensation matters.
• Strong analytical and modeling skills to evaluate compensation structures and market data.
• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of salary and equity benchmarking, market trends, and compensation best practices.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
