Community Relations Manager

About the role

The Community Relations Manager will serve as the primary ambassador for Bunge, building and nurturing relationships with local communities, businesses, and institutions. This role combines strategic planning, outreach, and communication to promote Bunge’s vision and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a community‑relations strategy that creates positive impact.
• Build and maintain relationships with community members, key individuals, and partner organizations.
• Act as the main point of contact for neighboring businesses, institutions, and community groups.
• Organize outreach programs, special events, and public press conferences.
• Draft and distribute communications that highlight Bunge’s activities and achievements.
• Represent Bunge at relevant events to strengthen community ties.
• Manage social‑media content and virtual groups to enhance the company’s online presence.
• Collaborate across internal functions to promote cross‑functional relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, English or a related field (preferred).
• 2‑4 years of experience in public relations or a similar discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Capacity to handle sensitive or controversial topics with professionalism and tact.
