Community Manager – The Adeline

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of The Adeline, a 235‑unit stabilized property. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the on‑site team, drive occupancy, and ensure financial and operational targets are met while maintaining compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, team performance, and resource allocation.
• Drive occupancy rates by implementing market‑responsive leasing strategies.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including resident applications, discounts, and renewals.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other regulations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of Community Manager experience in multifamily housing.
• Proven ability to coach teams, hold members accountable, and stay ahead of market trends.
• Strong communication, client‑management, and ownership mindset.
• Experience preparing budgets, analyzing financial statements, and reporting performance.
