Community Manager – Student Living Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager for its Accolade on Samsom student‑living property. The role oversees daily operations, leads the on‑site team, and ensures the property meets its financial and operational targets while complying with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to the property budget by analyzing financial statements, marketing data and operational reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, make bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial status reports to meet revenue targets.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including approving applications, discounts, renewals, conducting inspections, processing evictions and collecting late fees.
• Build and maintain relationships with university housing and student‑affairs officials to stay informed of policies affecting the community.

Required profile

• Experience in property or community management, preferably in student housing.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other multi‑family housing regulations.
• Ability to analyze budgets, financial statements and operational data.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with internal teams and external partners.
