Community Manager – Student Living

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager for Hornet Place, a student‑living community. The role oversees daily operations, ensures resident satisfaction, and drives financial performance of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor the property budget, analysing financial statements and market data.
• Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates and coordinate with accounting.
• Manage petty cash and control expenditures within approved budgets.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions and late‑fee collection.
• Build and maintain relationships with university housing and student‑affairs officials to stay informed of policy changes.

Required profile

• Experience in property or community management, preferably in student housing.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and related regulations.
• Proven ability to meet revenue targets and manage operational budgets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
